Sabine Wilke

Presenter and moderator Prof. Wilke's works include publications on body and gender constructions in modern German literature, culture, theory and film, as well as research on theories of performativity and postcolonialism. Her current research interest focuses on Alexander von Humboldt. For her workshop presentation she will focus on theories of performativity and staged authenticity with regards to the Polynesian Cultural Centre in Oahu, Hawaii.
