Jade Boyd

A Ph.D. candidate in the Women's Studies Department at the University of British Columbia Jade Boyd's publications on dancing bodies, embodiment and urban spaces situate her as an emerging gender expert within the scope of the Body Spaces workshop. Boyd's research, which is based on ethnographic research within the Vancouver area, examines social dancing and its relation to urban geography and identity.
